TERMS & CONDITIONS Lethers Travel – West Yorkshire Coach Excursions
1. General
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with Lethers Travel, a coach excursion operator based in Pudsey, West Yorkshire. By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. They form a legally binding contract between you and Lethers Travel.
2. Making a Booking
Bookings can be made by telephone on 0113 824 2411 or by email at dayexcursions@letherstravel.com. A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and confirmation has been given by us. It is your responsibility to ensure all booking details are correct at the time of booking.
3. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. All prices are per person and quoted in pounds sterling (GBP). Unless explicitly stated, excursion prices cover coach travel only — attraction entry tickets, meals, and any other costs at the destination are the responsibility of the passenger.
4. Cancellation by the Passenger
If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. The following charges apply:
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover cancellation charges.
5. Cancellation or Alteration by Lethers Travel
We reserve the right to cancel or alter any excursion due to insufficient bookings, adverse weather, vehicle breakdown, or circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative excursion. We are not liable for any independently booked costs such as attraction tickets or accommodation.
6. Passenger Conduct
All passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow passengers and staff. We reserve the right to refuse travel to, or remove from the coach, any passenger who is intoxicated, abusive, or disruptive. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
7. Smoking & Alcohol
Smoking and vaping are not permitted on any of our coaches. Alcohol may not be consumed on board unless specifically agreed in advance.
8. Luggage
Passengers may bring a reasonable amount of personal luggage. Lethers Travel accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to luggage or personal belongings during any excursion.
9. Accessibility & Special Requirements
Please inform us of any accessibility needs or medical conditions at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee full accessibility at all destinations. Passengers requiring wheelchair access should contact us before booking to confirm suitability.
10. Liability
Lethers Travel holds public liability insurance as required by law. We are not liable for injury, loss, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control, the actions of passengers, or third-party venues and attractions visited during the excursion. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence.
11. Children
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and behaviour of children in their care.
12. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please raise it with the driver or trip organiser on the day. If unresolved, contact us in writing within 14 days of your excursion at dayexcursions@letherstravel.com or call 0113 824 2411. We aim to respond within 14 working days.
13. Data Protection
We collect your personal data solely for the purpose of managing your booking. We will not share your details with third parties except where required by law or necessary to operate your excursion.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Lethers Travel reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available on this website.
